The phenomenon of seeing shapes in clouds is called pareidolia. It is an optical illusion that occurs when our brain tries to make sense of random patterns by interpreting them as familiar objects, such as animals, faces, or objects. This is a natural tendency of the human brain to recognize patterns and make sense of the world around us.  Clouds come in different shapes and sizes, and their appearance depends on various factors, such as the amount of water vapor in the air, the climate of a location, the winds, and the type of air.
